- 5 cups malunggay leaves
- 2 pcs pandan leaves
- 10 cups water
- 15 pcs calamansi

Salabat Tea – Filipino Ginger Drink
Filipino Salabat is a typical Filipino drink made with ginger. The translation of the tagalog word Sabat litteraly means Tea in English. Since Ginger has many health benefits, most filipinos drink Sabat when they’re having fever, soar throat or when it’s cold.
The ingredients needed to prepare the Filipino drink Salabat are:
- 4 pieces of fresh ginger (sliced thin)
- 3 cups of water
- 2 tbsp brown sugar

- Put all the ingredients in a small pan
- Boil the water including the ingredients for approximately 9-10 min.
- Put the Filipino Salabat in a mug and serve it while it’s hot.
Calamansi Juice – Filipino Lemon Drink
Calamansi is a small lemmon from the Philippines. It is a popular fruit among Filipinos and often used because Calamansi is rich in Vitamin C, phrosphorus, Iron and Calcium and often used to prevent common sicknesses like cold, cough and flu. Typical drinks made with Calamaci are Lemonade and Calamaci Juice cause of it’s taste, aroma and flavor.
Ingredients needed for Calamansi Juice are:
- 3 calamansi
- Ice Cubes
- Cold water
- Sugar or Honey
A Typical way to prepare the Clamansi juice (drink) is:
Cut the calamansi in half and squeeze the juice out of the lemon into a glass. Try to avoid that the seeds of the calamansi will enter the glass. Add the cold water to the Calamansi and add some sugar or honey to make the taste just right. Mix it all together and finally add the ice cubes.
Green Mango Shake Recipe
A favorite among Filipino fruit shake lovers. One would love it for it’s tangy and real fruit taste. The green mango comes with a combination of a sweet and sour taste which make the shake amazingly great!
Ingredients for this shake:
1 Green mango
3 onz simple syrup
1 tsp non fat milk
3 onz Evaporated milk
1 1/2 cup ice cubes
Procedure to prepare this shake:
1. mix everything in a blender and process until ice cubes are crushed
2. Pour in a glass

Sago At Gulaman Drink
All through the year filipino’s love to drink a lot, especially during the hot summers in the Philippines. A typical drink which can be found in many restaurants is Sago at Gulaman. Sago is a tapioca starch and Gulaman is jelly. The combination of these two main ingredients are not only the main ingredients for Sago at Gulaman but also other Filipino drinks. So in order to prepare Sago at Gulaman you need the following ingredients:
• One cup of sugar
• One bar of white gulaman soaked in water and drained
• Two cups cooked sago (tapioca pearls)
• Two cups water
Cooking instructions:
Start by caremelizing the sugar in a pan. When the sugar is melted (till its golden brown) add the two cups of water and continue cooking until the sugar is comletely dissolved. Let it cool off completely and add some of the syrup to the Sago so it will get a sweet taste. Put the Sago and Gulaman in a glass and add some more syrup to make it sweeter. Pour some crushed ice in a glass and fill the glas with ice cold water.
